HYPERCUBE is a blocky, modular, display typeface that was created to fill a void. While working on personal projects, I found myself wishing there was a bold and perfectly square typeface I could use. Finding nothing that fit my needs exactly online, I decided to make it myself.
This process would inspire an entire art project spanning across a series of posters and a book.
The theming revolved around a fantastical cult that worshipped this celestial cubic object, and the means they would use to proselytize others to convert to their religion. Overall, it was a lot of fun creating in this science fiction style.
