PINIT Shelves were created to solve a problem.

In the design space, iteration is a crucial part of the workflow.  There is often a need to showcase prototypes, mockups, and packaging concepts within a limited space.  

In scenarios where directly adhering the product to a wall is not enough, display it on a PINIT shelf instead.
